Read the posts. It's not a concern at this time. Foam liberation is normal. So long as it's not a hit and not before T+2:20...

Well, the news media also saw what I saw so I think it is a concern for those who are going to make a public statement to answer the question of what happened.

It's not the 'Gimbal' itself. It's the secondary drive electronics and motor.

No impact for a first failure. A second failure would prevent that OMS engine from being gimballed...I suspect this would mark the entire engine 'failed' apart from deorbit burns (need to check flight rules).

However...no impact in the current situation.
Nope. They would use it as they still have RCS control capability, so called "RCS Wraparound".

Incorrect. Ill-informed media does not change the event. There will be nothing they can say to such media today. Everything gets evalauted and more will be known only after that.

What we DO know, is it happened at T+3 minutes. This is very important, as already mentioned.

Repeating it does not make it any more danagerous.

Anyone see the replay of launch from the white room?
Amazing!!

They haven't showed the white room shot on NASA TV for years.  Where did you see it at? Would like to look.  NASA TV has been very disappointing in recent launches.

Recording this.  A video of the foam liberation will be posted, along with images.

I saw a dark-colored FRCS puff (I think) just after SRB-sep, a foam event that passed under the right wing soon after, and the one that bounced off the right underside way too late to be meaningful.

First one missed.  Second one bounced off starboard side, but with little relative velocity.

IMO
