Congratulations on a fantastic launch (and one heck of a forum.. you'd never know we just went through a launch with this speed!).

Great launch!
No CBC coverage at all.
CTV cut off coverage at T+ 6 minutes saying all was going well.
CNN coverage was awful with Miles O'Brien practically screaming over the noise of the helicopter.

Those aren't really live updates, are they?  You can't be sure of what you've seen.  Don't jump to conclusions...we will find out after seeing the appropriate replays.

Many launches I've thought I've seen debris that is nothing even off-nominal.

Good call.  Lots of those saying they "definitely" saw something really don't know what they saw. It'll be a good news story for someone though.

I'm guessing all will be well with Discovery.  Have faith.

And remember that foam at higher altitudes is more of a investigative nuisance than true danger.

I don't think I've ever seen so much debri post-seperation!!

Great one, spectacular, uneventful and with a beautiful day to frame it all :) Congratulations to everyone who has worked hard to get her launched and make it look so easy and smooth! And thanks for the wonderful live coverage.

Welcome to space! :)

Looking forward to the Debris Events report in L2, although I'm quite sure nothing worrysome will pop up.

The BBC coverage was very good. They went from T-2 mins all the way to post-MECO, far longer than usual. The woman they had in to talk about it was quite accurate too, apart from the fact she said both CDR and PLT had flown more than once before...

Amazing launch BTW!!

pictures come out.
