Just about an hour until live launch coverage starts on NASA TV.

The Final Inspection Team is at the pad, as noted above, and the Closeout Crew is either on their way or already at the pad (no shot in the White Room.. yet.., so I'm not too sure).

I think it's just about to start. PAO's doing voice checks on NASA TV.

I just heard some voice checks on my feed - I don't think voice coverage has started officially however.

Can anyone supply me with the IP address of the nasa tv site?
My ISP is having issues with their DNS servers again, and I can't get any name resolution for nasa.gov

The F.I.T. is at the top of the FSS.

Please keep on topic about launch, not audio.  :)

I don't think if that if theres Ice, it will stay, heck its like 90 some odd degrees out there. Last post here, I am leaving shortly to the Cape.

But the tank itself is about -300 Degrees Fahrenheit.  The liquid inside isn't warm, it's very very cold.

Whoa, a lot of air traffic around the cape, maybe trying to get as much by before the range is closed?

Exactly.  When I was down there for 120 last OCTOBER it was very hot and humid.  There were rumblings about a large chunk of ice on the tank...most people were literally sweating their asses off and couldn't understand how ice could be an issue in that heat and humidity.

Weird to think how small a range there really is for humans to feel comfortable.

Every launch of the shuttle has happened above freezing - yet ice is still an impact - so there must be more to it than the current temperature (low-mid 80's)
