I think the time of launch is helping up with PAO coverage today in that more experts are available in the afternoon for commentary instead of the middle of the night or early morning countdown.

GLS Mainline activation is normally at around T-50 though...I think I may have missed the call.

I think you are right, I miss typed my reply and meant to say that the GLS mainline activation will be verified to support the terminal count after the T-20 minute is completed, sorry I was not more clear :(

GLS mainline activation always  occurs at T-45 minutes, which would have been 13 minutes ago.

I love that 041 shot.  Hopefully they use it during the OAA retract (as  on STS-116)  and maybe we get to see it in the launch replay loop. Nice close up angle form higher up on the FSS.

Now 1 hour 28 minutes to the in plane launch time, 12 minutes to the T-20 minute hold.

GPC transfer to the BFS is complete reported by the CDR.

Some very nice commentary on NASA TV today, with explanations of things going on and what we see. :)

Should be close to the White Room closeout so the Closeout Crew can depart the pad.

Commander Mark Kelly has pressurized the gaseous nitrogen system for Discovery's Orbital Maneuvering System engines and pilot Ken Ham activated the gaseous nitrogen supply for the orbiter's Auxiliary Power Units' water spray boilers.

Hi all,
Great site.
Can anyone tell me where to find or let me know which direction the shuttle heads today?  I'm in south Florida (Palm Beach County) and was able to see it once at night, but it headed NE.  Any chance it will be headed on a SE trajectory?
Thanks
Tom

No, the shuttle launches (to ISS) at an inclination of 51.6 degrees, which is NE. I'm not sure about STS-125 as that is a Hubble Space Telescope mission... :)
