I'm glad I'm not there to deal with it!  :)  It sure is nice getting a full 8 hours of sleep, at night no less! ;)

Chris - the rumors are already flowing on some of the satellite TV forums about this.

Rumors are just that - so when the press release is out - then we'll know who the unfortunate is...  And that can and should then go to a seperate news-thread somewhere else than this thread.

So is this about SeaLaunch and Echostar-11 or not?  There are other rumors about problems with Echostar-2 that is on-orbit at 148 W.L.

I think they will wait to release official news of a dead bird until this one is launched. So far it seems they will allow this one to fly.

Speaking of which, moved for live coverage.

although that could change at any time.

L-120 minutes. Anyone staying up through the night for this one?

I'll record a launch video and do updates. Could use help with the screenshots.

Yes, but it could get dicey with the screenshots.  I usually do a print screen, but with my dual monitor set-up it adds more time.

I'll be able to get some screens for the last hour or so before launch (it's really easy with VLC).

Thanks, it's cool. Andrewski's going to help - ah, there's his post above - so we're looking good. Won't hurt to get a few more for a selection of launch images, however. So don't be shy with a few additionals at lift off :)

I'll have a launch preview up in 30 mins.

L-100 mins - Coffee pot purge is in progress ;)

Hmm ..  I can't seem to access the webcast. When I browse the link, it takes me to the video archive page, which allows me to test the connection, which fails. What URL provides the webcast, for real?
