Countdown milestones for tomorrow:

Launch-1 Day (Friday, May 30)

- Resume countdown (3 a.m.)
- Begin filling pad sound suppression system water tank (3 a.m.)
- Main engine avionics, pneumatics and controller checkout (3 a.m.)
- Close out the tail service masts on the mobile launcher platform
- Pad sound suppression system water tank filling complete (6 a.m.)
- Begin star tracker functional checks (10:50 a.m.)
- Enter planned hold at T-11 hours for 13 hours, 37 minutes (11:00 a.m.)
- Activate the orbiter's communications systems
- Move Rotating Service Structure to the park position (8:30 p.m.)
- Perform ascent switch list
- Fuel cell flow-through purge complete

Hope there aren't to many mixups in this days timeline Mark :) If you find anything...would be really happy to get the right ones.

At the moment countdown is at hold at T-19 hours.

Sorry I was traveling today and didn't have time to provide an upadte this morning as promissed - I am still on Japanese time and am not exactly coherent anyway.  The timeline above seems correct but here is one with a few more task listed.  I didn't have time to insert detailed explanations of each task like I did with my post on Wednesday.

Countdown Milestones for Friday, May 30

T-19 hours and holding

Complete Crew Module Cleaning and Vacuuming
Secure mobile launch platform

Resume countdown at the T-19 hour mark (3 am)

Begin filling pad sound suppression system water tank (3 am)
Power up the master events controllers (3 am)
Power up space shuttle main engine controllers and load with flight software (3 am)
Auxiliary power unit exhaust duct plug removal
Remove orbital maneuvering system engine covers and throat plugs (4 am)
Gaseous oxygen vent arm initial activation
Closeout the tail service masts
L-1 Day flight crew weather briefing (9:30 am)
Guidance navigation and control system power up and self test (10:10 am)
Perform star tracker functional checks (10:50 am)

Enter a 13 hour and 37 minute long built in hold at T-11 Hours (11:00 am)

Verify flight control team on station and hardline data is being received at the Johnson Space Center
Perform orbiter communication system activation
Retract rotating service structure to the park (launch) position (8:30 pm)
Activate xenon lights (9:30 pm)
Perform ascent switch list (10:30 pm)
Align gaseous oxygen vent hood with external tank nose cone (10:00 pm)

You wouldn't be able to tell from that camera angle. Added to the fact there's no issues with the vehicle.

Well, there was not much to report. Countdown is going well, crew is ready, payload is ready and the weather is most likely going to cooperate.
