Atlantis has exactly passed north of the equator at a MET time of 8 days even for STS-122, now on orbit 128.
PET is 6:40, Stan will take photos of the airlock hand rail that is suspect of MMOD damage.

The complex will pass over San Francisco in about 7 minutes, 16 minutes to East handover, 25 minutes to sunset on this pass.

Pictures of the handrail have been taken, they will conduct the swatch test on the handrail with the thermal hatch closed, PET 6:50
EVA crew getting a great view of the West Coast of the USA right now, 10 minutes to East handover, 20 minutes to sunset.

Rex reports he does not feel much pull or drag on the overglove portion of the swatch tool on the airlock handle. He is trying to swipe the handle from different directions, he is using different portions of the swatch tool to test different glove surfaces. Complex is passing over the Dakotas now in the USA, 15 minutes to sunset, 4 minutes to East handover.

The EVAers are ready to ingress the airlock, before they do they just wished Leland a happy birthday today!
Complex is now over Newfoundland, Canada, 8 minutes to sunset on this pass, 36 minutes to the ZOE. KU through East right now, may become spotty as we approach the ZOE.
