Avron - 13/2/2008 5:18 PM Felix - 13/2/2008 11:14 AM Hans inspecting the connector no damage visible
Why are they playing with these connectors.. Should this tank not be in motion up to the truss then be connected?
I think they're just disconnecting the lines that transport the nitrogen to the main systems of the truss, and stowing them in dummy connectors on the old NTA itself, so that they can take it out without cables dangling around.
I assume they will have to do the same operation when they get the new NTA in place, but in reverse: disconnecting the lines from the dummies and mating them to their operational places.
They've just vented the old NTA, by the way. And the new one has been freed from its restraints in the ICC. Getting ready to do the swap-up.

I think they're disconnecting the connectors from the old tank. They were never able to do it on Monday as they ran out of time.

And it's free. Next step is transporting Walheim and the NTA to P1 where Hans is waiting.

Hi everyone, we are under two minutes to sunset on this pass and 4 minutes away from the ZOE.
My updates for this EVA concerning KU coverage will be estimated today as I don't have a copy of the FD 7 execute package yet.

KU is through TDRS-Z right now, spacewalk PET is 2 hours, 13 minutes, 30 minutes to sunrise on this pass. Should have KU through Z during the next 10 - 20 minutes before a handover to TDRS-West (we may not have continuous KU through this time however).

Its a white speck floating slowly down on the right side of the screen ... almost out of frame now.
