Well this is really out of the blue, but it seems that the Japanese has just won their first major geostationary comsat launch contract ever! Apparently Telesat of Canada has booked one of their satellites for launch on an H-IIA rocket in 2015: http://t.co/lVOLlDcOdP (in Japanese)Press conference scheduled in 40 minutes: http://t.co/ksHii75c5RThe only satellite that seems to fit with the planned launch time is the recently ordered Telstar 12V.
