• As per S. Ramakrishnan, director, Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), this year we will have:
  
  GSLV in May

  "Listing out launches to be made by Isro this year, the VSSC director said  PSLV would soon place SPOT 7 satellite in orbit after which there would be couple of launches with foreign satellites..."
  
  Does anyone have any information on the SPOT-7 launch ? Will this be adjusted into the schedule for this year like SPOT-6 during last year?

  Spot 7 is to mirror Spot 6 PSLV Configuration and launch sequence so I believe that is so for question 2.

  Apparently this launch will not happen this year with PSLV (moreover Astrium has already announced a launch in early 2014):
  since ISRO plans 9 more missions (ie S/C and domestic launchers) this year (source)which can be accounted for as follows:
  1-GSLV-D5
  2-GSAT-14
  3-PSLV C22
  4-IRNSS-1
  5-PSLV C25
  6-MangalYaan
  7-Insat-3D
  8-GSAT-7
  9-presumably 1 PSLV piggybacked S/C
  
  (SPOT 7/PSLV would make it 10 more missions and not 9)

  I guess, 9 is GSLV-M3's 1st experimental launch without Cryo stage & payload, named as M3-X1. (If so, not sure why ISRO considers this as a spl 'mission'; ideally it is similar to the S200 booster test, of course, integrated with L110! . Pls Refer

  Thanks. Since ISRO recent annual report has GSLV MkIII D1 launch in  FY2016-17, I will keep it there until an earlier date (like July 2015)  is stabilized.
