Here is a Press Trust of India report...gives launch date of April 20th

Oceansat hasn't yet been integrated with the launch vehicle.

Seems like the cubesats will fly at the late April according the news but some of them are still at their facilities.

APR 16
1. One of my source gave me a eye-witness account...stating that RISAT-2 is similar to Techsar in
appearence.

2. The vehicle was supposed to be moved to the launch pad on Apr 15...Hope it is done by now.

3. This launch is to be followed by two PSLV launches...that makes GSLV D3 launch further delayed

4. One of those launches is PSLV C14 carrying Oceansat-2+ISIS payloads...ISIS website states it

as "current campaign" with launch date "end-april"....hope it holds.

according to http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/Cities/UoP-ISRO-to-launch-satellite-for-study-on-rice/articleshow/4407693.cms ISRO will launch it's SRE-II mission between October and December 2009. It will perform something like the chinese Shijian 8 aka Seeds-Sat mission.

SRE will also also act as a test-platform for some technologies required for manned mission.

According to http://www.isispace.nl/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=80&Itemid=84 tentative launch date for Oceansat-2 satellite is the end of May.

to isro-watch, anik, and all,

I just found out that we updated the tentative launch date on our campaign website right after isro-watch's post. The official date was still set at end of April until very recently.

As the PSLV-C12 launch now seems to go ahead on Monday, we expect to have a more detailed update in the following week or two. For now, we may assume PSLV-C14 to follow in (the second half of) May.

We'll keep you posted.

When is the next GSLV MK II Launch? When is the next GSLV MK III launch? When is next GSLV launch with Indian cryogenic engine? Why is it so hard to find all this info at ISRO website?

Mr. Nair said it would be “a season of fireworks” this year at Sriharikota with a series of

These PSLV launches are nothing to celebrate about. Its all been there done that. Yes, they might carry interesting payload's which I look forward to.

The next milestone is GSLV MK III and Ingeniousness Cryo Engines.

I do accept that....even the media here doesn't give much credence to it...But if u look, most of the launches have something or the other new about them...And I am happy that we have left our most hated neighbour(Pakistan)far behind in many aspects including Space...looks like ISRO is draging its feet and wants to make sure that every thing goes well with GSLV MKII(D3 flight)....But ISRO plans to use PSLVs regularly...evident from the fact that it has asked government funding for launches upto PSLV C24...which it got.
