According to Xinhua, Angolan government signed an agreement with Rosoboronexport for manufacturing and launching Angosat. Launch may occur in 2010-2011 period. Does anybody have more details about this new bird and its launcher?

Hi Andrey!

Regarding the launch times of the Russian launch list, I have the launch time 0715:53,783UTC for the RapidEye launch. I'm sorry, but I don't have the source of that information but I think it was from the ISC Kosmotras page (can't find that time on the page anymore).

Yes, it was published on Kosmotras website. But that time did not mean liftoff time. It meaned the ending of accurate adjustment of gyroplatform of Dnepr rocket in silo before liftoff.

Will Progress M-4M to M-10M all undock from ISS and deorbit before launch of the next Progress?

No. There are two nominal ports for Progresses on ISS: Zvezda aft and Pirs. So there is no necessity for the undocking of the old Progress before the launch of the new Progress. For example, Progress M-3M will dock to Pirs, Progress M-4M - to Zvezda aft, Progress M-5M - to Pirs, etc.

How and why would Glonass-K satellites be launched from Plesetsk? Isn't their orbital inclination lower than the latitude of Plesestsk, meaning that Soyuz-Fregat would suffer a performance loss, compared with launch from Baikonur?

For Soyuz 2.1b and 65 deg difference between Plesetsk and Baik about 100-150kg in payload mass on parking orbit.

From Plesetsk Soyuz 2.1b/Fregat can place on target circular orbit ~19200km inc 64.8 deg. ~1700kg or 2хGlonass-K(~830 kg). And can't place 3хGlonass-K from Baikonur.

Does this http://www.federalspace.ru/NewsDoSele.asp?NEWSID=4427 refer to the Soyuz TMA-1M (No. 701) or to other modification.
