On May 29th two SM-6 Dual II interceptors were launched from an unidentified US vessel to test the Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense System but failed to intercept a medium range ballistic missile target (probably an ICBM-T2 launched from Kwajalein).

In the article:
" ... the Saturday test occurred somewhere northwest of Hawaii. ..."
I speculate the 'suborbital test' of SN20 is targeting the same area.

This is FTM-31 E1.
"The U.S. Missile Defense Agency, in cooperation with the U.S. Navy, conducted Flight Test Aegis Weapon System 31 Event 1 on May 29, 2021."
As reported in
https://www.gao.gov/assets/gao-19-387.pdfthe target for FTM-31 E1 is an MRBM T3c2.
"The first flight test with the MRBM T3c2 target is FTM-31, which is scheduled for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2019."

And to save others looking it up: the T3c2 is a ground launched (presumably from KMR/Meck) Trident C4 first stage with an M57 second stage - versus the ICBM-T2 which is a C4 with Pegasus upper stages

A suborbital launch took place today (June 23rd) at the Esrange Space Center. A S-31 Improved Orion sounding rocket carrying the BOLT-1 mission was launched at 00:50 UTC. About the payload:
https://sscspace.com/blog/2021/06/04/bolt-1/BOLT Mission Introduction
The objective of the BOLT (Boundary Layer Transition) project is to experimentally investigate the hypersonic boundary layer transition mechanisms from laminar to turbulent flow on a low-curvature concave surface with highly swept leading edges. This shall be achieved during a captive-carry flight experiment on a sounding rocket at speeds between Mach 5 to 7 in two experiment windows on upleg and downleg trajectory of the rocket. The vehicle configuration is therefore selected and adapted in a way to provide the necessary measurement conditions, especially also on the ascent flight path.
A live feed was running on Youtube, you can find the liftoff moment at 8:25:43.

A Black Brant IX took off yesterday at 18:00 UTC from Wallops Island, performing the first of two launches for the Dynamo-2 mission. The apogee was 76 miles/122 km (they said that during the livestream). The second launch is expected to happen NET 9 July.

A S-520 sounding rocket was launched from Uchinoura on 26 July at 20:30 UTC:
https://www.jaxa.jp/press/2021/07/20210727-1_j.htmlhttps://www.sankei.com/article/20210727-REFI2C6ZQZKHFP737N36UI7LNY/Successful new engine experiment JAXA launches sounding rocket
The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) installed a new engine under development at the Uchinoura Space Center in Kimotsuki Town, Kagoshima Prefecture on the 27th, which uses shock waves generated by the explosive reaction of a mixed gas of fuel and oxygen. , Launched sounding rocket "S-520" No. 31. According to JAXA, the experiment was successful with the aim of demonstrating engine performance in outer space.
The launch was at 5:30 am on the same day. The rocket rushed through the almost cloudless sunrise sky with a dazzling light, and about 20 seconds later, it reached a high sky that was invisible to the naked eye. Applause came from the JAXA staff who witnessed.
If a technology that uses shock waves as a propulsion force is put into practical use, it can be expected that energy efficiency will be improved by reducing the weight of the engine. JAXA is working on development as a core technology for exploring distant space.
