The Hi-C sounding rocket made its second flight from White Sands today. Launch was around 1826 UTC.
Not clear yet how the flight went.
Payload successfully recovered. Good calibration data for new camera obtained, but appears shutter may not have opened -
no science data obtained. :-( Better luck next time...

A NASA Terrier-Improved Malemute with the RockSat-X payload was successfully launched at 7:33:30 a.m. EDT, Aug. 17, 2016. The payload reached an apogee of 95.29 miles.
Andoya Space Center posted a video on Vimeo about the Improved Malemute Qualification / MaxiDusty sounding rocket campaign. Two Improved Malemutes launched from ASC, Norway on the 30 June and 8 July.
Four missile tests (three confirmed) from Russia in recent weeks. A suspected Yars failure from Plesetsk on August 25. A successful Topol test from Plesetsk on September 9. Two Bulava missiles salvo launched from a submarine in the White Sea on September 27. One of the Bulava missiles "autodestructed" after launching from the missile tube. It isn't clear if the destruction was planned or not.
