on another point, we need somebody US based with a access to a sat. dish pointed to AMC 3 and a dreambox/sat receiver uplink it to one of our servers so we can stream it ourselfs.
I've tried at work but can't get it with 2 meter dish.....
Uplink provider = Americom
Satellite = AMC 3
Transponder = 15 C
87 Degrees West
Transmission Format = DVB-S, 4:2:0
Downlink Frequency: 4000 Mhz
Downlink Polarity: Horizontal
FEC = 3/4
Data Rate = 38.860 MHz
Symbol Rate = 28.1115
What kind of LNB are you using? I just got a C-Band NASA TV setup going with some scavenged equipment.
Later,
MF

Over the last few weeks, we’ve set up and begun doing a beta test broadcast of NASA TV onto your Apple iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. We tweeted it out early yesterday to our Twitter followers before the landing of the Space Shuttle Atlantis once we were sure it was ready to have more of a spotlight shone on it. It’s also been linked on the NASA TV web page in the left column for the last couple of weeks since we set up the stream.

RELEASE: 10-169
NASA TELEVISION DEBUTS FULL-TIME HIGH DEFINITION CHANNEL
WASHINGTON -- On Monday, July 19, NASA Television will launch a
full-time High Definition (HD) channel that media, cable and
satellite service providers can access for news content and coverage
of agency missions and programs.
The channel will deliver HD video that only NASA can provide, such as
live launch coverage of space shuttles and other spacecraft. The "ISS
Update," a daily program covering the activities of the on-orbit
International Space Station crews, will air on the new HD channel.
Video of the Earth shot by crews on the station and from NASA
satellites also will be available.
NASA's video file news feed, media conferences, lectures, satellite
interviews and special events also will be delivered in HD. The NASA
TV HD channel will be offered in MPEG-2 format.

Any idea where I might find a description of the various KSC CCTV feeds? That is, camera location and video description/function? I'm always curious when I see the little number badge ("80," "170") in the corner of the screen.

I don't think so Tomdou. I remember when my broadband fell over and had to use dailup for a day (eek). Had to go to NASA Audio, as there wasn't anything under 150Kbs.

Does anyone know where I can find a live Shuttle MET clock on a website that doesn't depend on Java and isn't a dedicated application download? Maybe spaceflight-related website that has an MET clock ticking down in the upper corner or something?
