I believe that's scheduled for 8:00 pm EST.
The schedule provides a good general reference, but typically it happens when they are ready, which could be well before or after that.

Pretty frosty here in Jacksonville last night, actually had some ice on the windshield and roof. I know that the Cape is always much nicer than Jacksonville but it could still be a chilly night for the pad crews.
GO ATLANTIS!!
GO COLUMBUS!!

Sometimes it's hard to judge the size and scale of some the pad hardware without any references:

We'll be starting launch attempt 1 live thread later tonight.
Absolutely no issues being worked at present. GSE issues (two) are fixed/not a problem.
Could be four in a row on the first attempt!

It's the left shoulder. Salt, as an old-school preservative, was precious. To waste it therefore is to make the devil happy. As the devil stands to your left (the hand of the devil, etc.), to throw a pinch of salt over your left shoulder when you spill salt is good luck, as you're tossing a symbol of goodness in the Devil's face. Tossing it over your right shoulder isn't spiting God - it's just a waste of salt.

ANYWAY, the ESA is going nuts on NASA TV with their prep briefings. Do we know if 122 is bringing up anything decidedly "European" as a gift to the station, besides Columbus itself?

Well, last I checked they were bringing up 2 European astronauts, one of whom is scheduled to live on the station for a few months. Oh, you meant something "other than" the module and the astronauts...

EDIT: Robert: "great minds think alike"

Yes, they call him Léopold Eyharts.

Edit: Yes, apparently they do.

Enter planned hold at T-11 hours for 13 hours, 6 minutes (11 a.m.) Activate the orbiter's inertial measurement units
Activate the orbiter's communications systems
Install film in numerous cameras on the launch pad (11:55 a.m.)
Flight crew equipment late stow (4 p.m.)
Move rotating service structure to the park position (8 p.m.)Perform ascent switch list
Fuel cell flow-through purge complete
We've been in this BIH for 7 hours now. Two hours until RSS gets moved. I'll hopefully be able to record that for people, trying to get that in the works now. If anyone has a link to said camera (071), that is a live link, I'd appreciate it if you could pass it along.
