--That kinda stinks...even just for TCDT it would be nice to be able to watch crew arrival live...

I believe the crew arrived in a Gulfstream jet. If they had arrived in T-38s there would have been more than one jet listed in the flight profile posted above. The T-38 left bfore the Gulfstream so it was most likely assessing the weather ahead of the Gulfstream which carried the crew.

NASA.gov's Shuttle Page story:
Astronauts Arrive for Countdown PracticesThe crew for space shuttle Atlantis' STS-122 mission is at NASA's Kennedy Space Center for its full launch dress rehearsal, known as the terminal countdown demonstration test or TCDT. Atlantis' seven astronauts arrived at Kennedy’s Shuttle Landing Facility in their Gulfstream shuttle training aircraft on Saturday at 8:49 p.m. EST.

I see that Doug Lyons is listed at the STS-122 Launch Director in the KSC Media Gallery. Is the Launch Director a position that usually rotates? I seem to remember that one person is usually the launch director for all missions until he moves on to other duties. Is Mike Leinbach still a Launch Director? Did I miss something in the last month?

Mike is still the Launch Director. Lyons is the Assistant Launch Director. They simply omitted "Assistant". And it's not the first time to have made miss like that. For some of the STS-120 tow back to the OPF photos, Orbiter has been replaced with Orbital.

I thought that was the case seeing as how I would have expected major mention of Mike's departure at one of the press conferences. Thanks for clarifying for me!

I see Chris has update the article on Atlantis' FRCS issue:
http://www.nasaspaceflight.com/content/?cid=5287
Seems it was a wiring issue and should be resolved in 24 hours, per the article. Good News!
And that's complete, with everything working now

Heh - I didn't know they DID offbeat ones like the Expedition 16 crew poster. It's *so* 2003, but who cares? It looks great.
