Here is a general question about sts-122, please move to a more appropriate thread if necessary. As I recall, sts-118 replaced two things that were stowed on station for return to earth on sts-122: the CMG and a high gain antenna. However I am having a senior moment and it might be that the high gain antenna is the same as the SASA that actually came down on sts-120. can anyone confirm this for me?
I could probably confirm this with the sts-122 press kit, but it doesn't seem to be released yet. Anyone know when this will happen and why they have been delayed on the last few missions? -

STS-118 launched a new CMG and installed it. The old CMG is waiting on ESP-2 to be returned with STS-122 on LCC-Lite. The SASA was returned on STS-120. There is no HGA to be returned, you mean the SASA.

Inclination/Orbit Altitude: 51.6 degrees/122 nautical miles
On Nov. 10, the STS-122 shuttle stack rolled from the Vehicle Assembly
Building to Launch Pad 39A, where workers are performing closeout
connections and system verification checks. Atlantis' payload,
including the Columbus module, was installed in the orbiter cargo bay
on Sunday. Hypergolic propellant, which powers the maneuvering
systems on both the orbiter and the solid rocket boosters, has been
loaded. The astronauts will arrive on Saturday for the three-day
terminal countdown demonstration test. This is a countdown dress
rehearsal and a training exercise for the flight crew. It will
conclude on Nov. 20 with the astronauts on the flight deck of
Atlantis. They will be participating in the last three hours of the
simulated countdown while working with the launch team located in
Firing Room 4 of the Launch Control Center.

Schlegel had some trouble to switch from English to German (after four hours of interviews). He's not nervous. Being an astronaut for 20 years now. There's not much training left. relaxing for the mission. celebrating Thanksgiving.
Talked a lot about the mission and EVA stuff...Interview was broadcasted live on German tv channel "Phoenix"
Schlegel: Columbus is first real European spacecraft.
He considers himself a "European Astronaut", not a German one.
Europe could be on the same level in space flight as USA and Russia
He is not jealous on Léopold Eyharts. Proud to be on this mission and proud to do two EVAs
His wife Heike Walpot is an astronaut too but never actually flew. She works as an airline pilot (Lufthansa) now. She wanted to be the first European woman in space. She is not jealous...
He didn't "wait" for 15 years for this flight, he "worked" for 15 years
He was capcom for Increment 10.
He is worried how his body may adopt to zero gravity (after 15 years). "it's totally different. learning to live for a second time"He wont do any experiments in Columbus
After the mission: celebrate xmas, skiing with family, debriefings in 2008
he plans to stay in Houston for ESA in the long termHe thinks ISS will be extended beyond 2015. Europe's first priority is science in Columbus, not (yet?) expanding into space i.e. moon & mars
He feels comfortable in the space suit.

What was that on the end there before fading out the picture? Hans was annoyed with not having any particular point to look or something? He sounded a bit tired, but who wouldn't after all those interviews

I'd guess it's at the discretion of the site operators; there's no protocol I've seen for which cameras are shown, but you can e-mail them and ask.
Not sure if this goes here (but this is 122's processing thread), but I'm wondering if there's a reason that the White Room camera isn't up?
