how are things looking for the rollover from OPF the VAB tomorrow?

Chris' latest article on the Edwards runway work says this:
"The new landing strip is an asphalt/concrete runway - with the First 1000 ft after threshold are concrete (Air Force requirement)."

Can someone comment on that Air Force requirement?  Just curious.

Launch time has been adjusted to 5:02:07 PM EDT, 31 May due to the re-boost of ISS by JULES VERNE.
