A week isn't going to be too bad in the general scheme of things.

Quick calculation in my head - launch time on 5/31 would be about 5:09 pm Eastern based on the 23 minute earlier per day rule.

Good news that STS-124 is more or less on track, but too bad about HST, 126 and 119.  Let's hope they'll be able to minimize those delays.  Is there any hope at all that the schedule picture for those flights can change a little bit for the better?
I'll even excitedly look forward to "flags and footprints" and suborbital missions. Just fly...somewhere.

Is there a Beta Angle cut off if it slips some more?
A part of July...and then I think the next one isn't until Thanksgiving-ish.

The next two beta angle cut-outs after the May beta angle cut-out is July 7-21 and November 29-December 16.

Isn't (hasn't) this been the launch period for STS-119?

ET-128 has now been lifted off it's transport trailer. Next step is to get the trailer out of the way and start the rotation to vertical before its lift into the HB4E checkout cell.

Well, yes. According to the latest FAWG document on L2, STS-119/15A is planned for 12/4, right in the middle of the November/December beta angle cut-out.

Great article, Chris!

Thanks :) Probably three articles in one there, but I had to get a full L2 based update out before we head into what could be a series of Constellation articles given what's going on with that.
