when will the entry flight control ( my favorite) video replay

It was run once just prior to the the mission highlights package (which is now running again).  Keep your eyes open for another replay -- although I'm sure John44 will have that up on his website, too.

And now they seem to have come to quick stop jus twhen they cleared the runway.

It looks like the camera froze or they lost the video stream temporarily.

Switched to VAB cam (I think) and it looks a bit blustery up there.

No, they have stopped motion of Discovery. Yep. I just reviewed the recording I made of the tow and the convoy stopped just as they cleared the runway. Nothing odd observed though.

During the entry, PAO said Discovery was 85,000 pounds lighter than at liftoff.  Obviously there was the Node and a bit of transfer (~40,000 pounds?), plus some OMS and RCS propellant, and of course cryo, but this number surprised me.  Is that number correct, and if so, where did all of it go?

OMS prop is near 25k lbs

i seem to remember that there are about 7.5k lbs of RCS prop and then there is the fuel for the APUs and the fuel cells....but i have no numbers for those in my head.

As for the tears, you have it right Apollo.  They cling to you.  Seems to me that it would sting your eyes, but I guess that's not the case.

From what all the astronauts say it seems sleeping in space is more comfortable though.

With all the activity PLUS the lack of privacy, something tells me that sleeping during shuttle missions isn't the most restful thing.

All the KSC webcams that I can see are black (outside shots). Any confirmation that Discovery is back in the shuttle processing building? Last word on here some hours ago was they were towed just off the runway but they stopped there... Just looking to put closure to this wonderful day and mission by seeing if she is back in her barn safe and sound..

She's back at the OPF, but not in the OPF. Sitting on the ramp as of this morning when I drove in. Some lucky bus-tourists will get some happy snaps.
