Jim - 7/11/2007 4:29 PMQuoteLee Jay - 7/11/2007 4:19 PMDuring the entry, PAO said Discovery was 85,000 pounds lighter than at liftoff. Obviously there was the Node and a bit of transfer (~40,000 pounds?), plus some OMS and RCS propellant, and of course cryo, but this number surprised me. Is that number correct, and if so, where did all of it go?OMS prop is near 25k lbs

DaveS - 7/11/2007 5:33 PMNo, they have stopped motion of Discovery. Yep. I just reviewed the recording I made of the tow and the convoy stopped just as they cleared the runway. Nothing odd observed though.
psloss - 7/11/2007 5:27 PMFYI, the crew news conference has started...
jmjawors - 7/11/2007 3:39 PMI thought the "what happens to tears in space" question was a good one. True curiosity. I've wondered the same thing!
ChrisC - 7/11/2007 11:56 PMAaaargh, just got back, I missed it! So much for "No Earlier Than"! :[Of course, I understand, they've had a long day and a long 16 days and they want to get to bed ... a real bed!

Andrewwski - 7/11/2007 7:45 PMFrom what all the astronauts say it seems sleeping in space is more comfortable though.
stockman - 7/11/2007 9:28 PMAll the KSC webcams that I can see are black (outside shots). Any confirmation that Discovery is back in the shuttle processing building? Last word on here some hours ago was they were towed just off the runway but they stopped there... Just looking to put closure to this wonderful day and mission by seeing if she is back in her barn safe and sound..

This has been a great mission by all involved.
