Remember folks, this is a big day  and it will be image and update intensive, so please restrict your posts to updates and images only. (Turns out big time lack of KU meant this wasn't as intensive as usual.)

We're only 'controlling' over this as these FD threads are both historical records and catch-ups for people on various timezones, so it is easier to read when it's pure updates. I do understand there's a lot of passion and excitement, and that's actually encouraged, but just keep it on the relevant threads. Remember, we are the busiest (by a long way) site on this subject on the planet.

Questions about the events can go into Shuttle Q&A (we'll be creating a mission specific Q&A for 122): http://forum.nasaspaceflight.com/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=10600&start=1

Woo hooing can go into the cheerleading thread here: http://forum.nasaspaceflight.com/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=10134&start=1

I know this should go in the cheerleading thread, but as nothing is going on at the moment I hope you forgive me!

Just to say - the coverage for this mission has once again been excellent and the teams at NASA and contractors really pulled through this time.

Can't wait to see TPS status and the undocking / fly around photos.  ISS is growing with every mission, but it's also one less flight for the orbiters. :-(

I'll miss the shuttle when they go in 2010 - I've grown up with them.

Good luck on the TPS inspection and the rest of the mission!
Regards,
Lee

I should know this, but it's been a long mission. What model printer is on board Discovery?

Don't ever become a pessimist... a pessimist is correct oftener than an optimist, but an optimist has more fun, and neither can stop the march of events. - Robert Heinlein
