Why? NASA isnt ending the space program after grounding the shuttle... I'm sure he, like others, will play an important role on future Orion missions

Because when Orion first flies Scott will be almost 55 years old

Pam just mentioned that while Scott may not have received a medal for competing in the Olympics on the luge team, he earned an EVA gold medal today.

Thanks, corrected. A good example why I haven't said too much over the last few hours, 1) Because you've all done a fantastic job with the live updates, and 2) would have been a good idea getting some sleep last night

Seriously, well done to all. Great coverage througout this EVA and everyone adhered to the rules of the live updates. Greatly appreciated.

Anyways I tought Scott was a bit younger
