Well done Pambo with the award to Doug (thanks Dwight).

The order of St Michael award. I hope John 44 recorded that.

Also his fifth space flight so probably the last EVA of his career as he is unlikely to be selected for another shuttle flight given the desire to give as many astronuats as possible a chance to fly before the shuttle is retire.

Why? NASA isnt ending the space program after grounding the shuttle... I'm sure he, like others, will play an important role on future Orion missions

Because when Orion first flies Scott will be almost 55 years old ;)

The Order of St. Michael award was actually presented to Wheels.

Pam just mentioned that while Scott may not have received a medal for competing in the Olympics on the luge team, he earned an EVA gold medal today.

Is the medal onboard or will it be presented officially after landing?
Hoping for a future of NASA manned spaceflight

Thanks, corrected. A good example why I haven't said too much over the last few hours, 1) Because you've all done a fantastic job with the live updates, and 2) would have been a good idea getting some sleep last night ;)

Seriously, well done to all. Great coverage througout this EVA and everyone adhered to the rules of the live updates. Greatly appreciated.

I see the OBSS baking in the sun now. Will it be tested today for damage or will that wait until tomorrow or later?
