I didn't realize the tension in their voices until now that it has been released.  They all perform well under pressure.

Gene Kranz and Apollo 13....

Derek Hassman, Dina Contella, STS-120....

Failure is not an option!!

Pete Conrad and Skylab 2 is the appropriate comparison

Expect to resume KU on TDRS-West in about 20 minutes or so as the EVA concludes with tool cleanup and airlock ingress!

6 minutes to TDRS-West comm, 6 minutes to sunset.

OBSS functionality will probably be assessed afer it is handed off back to the SRMS.

5 hours and 32 min in EVA - go to bring the astronauts in.
I'll even excitedly look forward to "flags and footprints" and suborbital missions. Just fly...somewhere.

Pambo: 'before we celebrate, let's bring Scott back in.'
Scott (sardonically):  'Wheels is optional.'
Pambo (severely): 'I can see that *he's* on the structure!'

This EVA should make all Canadians proud, with the help over the past couple of days with Canadarm 1 and 2, the Canadian OBSS, and Scott "hockey stick" , just kidding about the 'hockey stick, I know it was not made in Canada ;)

Richard

As a Canadian I am very proud of the contribution we made.
The teamwork was phenominal.

I fully agree, it is a great day to be a Canadian and see our handiwork (SSRMS, SRMS and OBSS) to help out our international partners on the ISS, I am always proud to be Canadian and to see the contributions that our tech. has given to the space program.

Anybody know when they are planning on tensioning the array?

The array is tensioned now..
Is there any further rigidizing necessary on the arrays to allow the SARJ to move again?

I think as long as the mast is fully extended 100% as it is now, the SARJ can move again, I believe the structural concerns was more to do with having a partially deployed mast instead of the arrays.

Complex passing south of Australia, expect good KU to resume when the complex moves northeast away from New Zealand in about 10 - 15 minutes or so through TDRS-West. Still have S-band video stills through either Z or West right now, 17 minutes to sunrise.
