I'll be doing voiceover from home for MSNBC coverage throughout the EVA. Folks who can't get NASA TV, suggest they tune in there. And I'll be staying around these threads, in full compliance with Chris's media guidelines.

Epic EVA, tally ho!

Orbit 3 team on console right now.  They just showed a neat tour of ISS on the Flight Day Highlights, and here's a live pic they just beamed from ISS:
I'll even excitedly look forward to "flags and footprints" and suborbital missions. Just fly...somewhere.

saying EVA might be up to 45 mins early.  So at 4:45 CDT instead.  But will have to see how that goes

Let me second this ... that's a GREAT tour of the ISS interior, so go download the video from John44's site once he has it up.  It's right at the end of the video, starting at around the 25 minute point.  Paolo leads you around, from the Shuttle flight deck to the mid deck to the docking module through PMA2 into Destiny then Unity then Harmony then back through Unity and into the Russian segments.  The Russian part cut off before they were done, don't know if they lost Ku or what.  It's quite the labyrinth, and of course packed with Stuff.
PSA #1:  Suppress forum auto-embed of Youtube videos by deleting leading 'www.' (four characters) in YT URL; useful when linking text to YT, or just to avoid bloat.
PSA #2:  Users who particularly annoy you can be suppressed in forum view via Modify Profile -> Buddies / Ignore List.  *** See profile for two more NSF forum tips. ***
