As a proud Canadian, living and working in the US and total space junky it is so cool seeing both Arms and the Mobile Transporter being used in such an huge improvised EVA.  The mission itself is impressive but the ability to improvise so much in such a short period of time is great engineering and problem solving.

NASA, CSA and the contractors appear to be doing a great job on this.  Best wishes to complete success today and tomorrow guys.

I know we're up to our ears in Apollo 13 references right now, though certainly the danger to the crews is nowhere near the same, but the Canadian arm folks remind me right now of the Grumman folks taking pride in the LM taking on a new role as a lifeboat.

No, this isn't what the boom was intended for, but it will still do the job..

(Speaking of which, I think a continuation is in order for the cheerleading thread in anticipation of tomorrow's walk: http://forum.nasaspaceflight.com/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=10134&posts=61&start=1)

MSB within 15 mins.  They just now wrapped up the EVA tag up so that's why it's a bit late

If I heard that call right, hatch closure on FD13 will be at the end of the day, not the middle.

final set of EVA procedures onboard during lunch

Offline Chris Bergin

Scott could put his hand on the array and wouldn't get a shock due to isolation.
