Yes, I heard a bit about this over NASA TV.  You're not imagining things.

They are taking photos of some RTV wear on a left EMU glove (as observed during EVA-3).

Is it 4B or 4A that's damaged? PAO don't seem to know.

In my opinion the only way to fix this is to retract and have an EVA to cut the guide wire that hanging the array up.  Either that or retract and then redeploy hoping that the wire will free itself.

Any one disagree?

Cutting the guide wire would be a big mistake.

Indeed.  From everything I've seen, the wire is intact.  It's just hung up.  It's the array that needs a fix.

Trying to get more pictures, but the angle of the sun isn't helping at this time (I think that was Pam).

From that side it doesn't look nearly as bad to my eye. The arrays look mainly intact which is good. If they can work this free and fully deploy with just one tear then they should be ok. the damage seems to be localized and not terminal at this point - at least to my eyes.

They the only option is to parially retract and hopes it gets freed up.

The camera left outside is the one Scott tethered to the toolbox handle.

I know this is a bit early to ask, but will this come down to an EVA where the astronauts will have to go out and un-snag one of the wires or will they have to repair the array, if such a task exists?

Retract a couple bays until there's some slack and give it a good beta-shake!
