DTO hardware will be left on orbit. DTO to be discussed by MMT on how to carry out a test, as the crew needs to be trained (ISS crew can't do it).

In one of the earlier flights, one of the astronauts lost a screw when he was removing some launch restraints.

I don't know in which part of the station he was, but couldn't one of those screws or bolts be causing the problem?

That was on the port SARJ(STS-115). The SARJ talked about is the starboard SARJ(STS-117).

Total mission priority is to get P4 up and running, otherwise they can't provide power to Columbua.

I thought so, it was Joe Tanner right?

EVA-4 on the same day. Extra day is to allow day off inbetween EVAs 4 and 5.

So, let's see if I get this right: there are two race rings, but only one is used, so if one is damaged they can always switch to the other? But what happens if whatever is (hypothetically) damaging it also damages the other? It doesn't look so improbable to me...

It seems the only replaceable parts are the trundle bearings and the drive-lock assemblies. Why does he say the only 'damageable' parts are the trundles and the DLAs?

Absolutely. That's why it is critical to figure out what is causing the damage and fix it before switching rings. They would switch if continuing to use the damaged ring would cause more damage even after the fix.

They had a hard cutoff time to end EVA-4 in order to have time to do EVA-5 the next day; by adding the day in between the EVAs, they can handle issues such as a late start to EVA-4, a long EVA-4...those kinds of things...

And the MSB has ended.

A full set of high res images of the contamination going into L2, along with a load of documentation that's just turning up (pre-MMT).

Is there sufficient consumables to do the T-RAD EVA AFTER undocking on the Shuttle - i.e. use the shuttle air lock without station support?  This would allow the station crew to press forward on their tasks and not impact their busy timeline and just bring Discovery home a day later.

They don't have the consumables margin to do that plus the required contingency TPC day - it would need 2 extra days after undocking to set up and perform an undocked spacewalk, besides the additional docked ISS day.

Also, there's nothing available in the payload bay to setup a worksite to do that.
