From the Flight Plan and Flight Plan Walkthrough (and just a snippet, which gives you an idea of complexity):

FD5 – OBSS Handoff & Berth

12 FLT PLN/120/FIN
- SSRMS grapples OBSS
- SRMS ungrapples OBSS
- SSRMS maneuvers OBSS to aft position, clear of UHF antenna, and low hover
- SSRMS berths OBSS
- Shuttle crew latches starboard MRLs
- SSRMS ungrapples OBSS
- SRMS maneuvers to precradle
- SSRMS grapples MBS PDGF3. The base change is scheduled on FD6 but is
performed on FD5 if the crew has time.

• EVA Preps:
o BSA EVA tool battery charging is terminated and BSA EMU battery charging is initiated.
This is required prior to EMU Swap.
o EMUs are swapped so that MS3’s EMU is removed from the A/L and FE-2’s EMU is
placed in the airlock.
o METOX regen is terminated.
o A glove resize is performed on FE-2’s EMU and the REBA is checked out. METOX
canisters and EMU batteries are installed in the EMUs, the E/L is prepared, and EVA
tools are configured.
o All crewmembers are timelined for an hour procedure review.
o MS1(EV1) and FE-2(EV3) perform EVA campout procedures in presleep with MS4(IV)
assisting until hatch closure. They initiate a mask prebreathe, finish tool config, and
depress the A/L to 10.2 psi. The EV crewmembers sleep in the A/L overnight.

• Node 2 Vestibule Outfitting and Ingress:
o The Node 1 port hatch was opened on FD4. ISS crew removes the center disk cover
and four CPAs from the Node 1 port CBM.
o MS4 and ISS CDR gather tools required for Node 2 ingress. MS4 retrieves items from
middeck stowage including crew preference hatch decals and masks. These items are
not part of the transfer list but are tracked via inventory management. MS4 also moves
CTBs blocking Node 1 P1 panel, after which ISS CDR gathers Node 2 ingress tools
behind the panel.
o Emergency SODF books are deployed prior to Node 2 ingress.
o ISS CDR and MS4 perform Node 2 vestibule outfitting which includes removing the
thermal blanket, installing power jumpers, configuring data busses, removing IMV caps,
and installing an IMV duct.
o MCC-H performs Node 2 interim activation prior to Node 2 ingress.
o ISS CDR and MS4 perform Node 2 ingress and setup which includes turning on lights,
donning PPE, and opening the Node 2 aft hatch. The initial steps after hatch open have
the crew perform initial module atmosphere checkouts: ISS CDR and FE-1 take air
samples, ISS CDR inspects and removes the aft/stbd NPRV, and MS4 installs PPRV
caps on Node 2 port and starboard hatches. Finally the crew removes closeouts and
launch restraints, inspects the port/aft and port/fwd NPRVs, and establishes ventilation.
o The crew must wear PPE (surgical masks) inside Node 2 until 2.5 hours have elapsed
from ventilation setup.
o The crew may elect to video tape Node 2 ingress and downlink for PAO. It is highly
desirable for MS4 to participate in Node 2 ingress since the module is built by ESA/ASI.

• PAO: This is the first day Node 2 will be opened so it is highly desirable for the event to
occur in Node 2. Thus shuttle Ku must be scheduled if possible. An extended P/TV05 setup
is scheduled since this is the first time the crew will setup equipment in Node 2.

No FI, so just handoff and berth.

It was mentioned yesterday evening that the extra time now available will be put to good use:
- some additional ISS familiarization and EVA prep/review time for Dan Tani
- having Scott Parazynski spent up to a couple hours doing PGSC and network troubleshooting
- additional time for Harmony setup work

Egress should be really interesting to watch (they want lots of camera views and video taken for PAO purposes, plus the PAO event inside)

Crew wake in 26 minutes.  Good picture of the Soyuz and Progress docked to the ISS:

FD 05 Execute Package is now up: http://www.nasa.gov/pdf/194779main_fd05exec.pdf

I feel special knowing I got the execute package before even the crew did!  They're just getting the instructions to print it off now due to lack of Ku coverage.

Awesome nighttime low-light b/w views from an ISS camera, panning all around the station. The thin band of Earth's atmosphere clearly visible on the horizon, plus a number of stars as well.

Seems Clay is hard at work this morning, taking pictures at the Unity/Harmony interface, among other things.

Maneuvering the arms for OBSS handoff.  Seems to be ahead of schedule.

I like that second shot especially.
