Pfff.. Who reads the first page when it's posted? :)

Anyway, thanks. It wasn't mentioned in the press kit, only that they were doing it. Will subsequent lab modules have to deal with moving the OBSS out of the way too?

I know for KIBO they can't even take it up there with them because it's so large

or it could be JEM

one of the two

I know for KIBO they can't even take it up there with them because it's so large.  So the previous mission will leave it up there

or it could be JEM

one of the two

The JAXA modules make life interesting.

At one point, they were looking to build a "miniboom":
http://www.nasaspaceflight.com/content/?cid=4906 until it was cancelled.

This came about because of clearances:
http://www.nasaspaceflight.com/content/?cid=4493

But they since refined the plan....but my brain isn't working right now, so maybe someone can remind me when they are leaving the OBSS on the ISS inbetween two missions?

Kibo and JEM are(mostly) the same thing! Kibo is just the name on the JEM complex.
"For Sardines, space is no problem!"
-1996 Astronaut class slogan

"We're rolling in the wrong direction but for the right reasons"
-USA engineer about the rollback of Discovery prior to the STS-114 Return To Flight mission

okay I see what your saying.  I thought the JEM was the external stowage platform.

Thanks for clearing that up for me!

Education channel has been disabled until Oct 29th, probably to make room for the HD service.  That's still up by the way, mostly running a camera of the launchpad (now empty), but in the last hour they actually started launch replays, including the HD shots!
You're recording those, right?  :)

Between 1J/A (123) and 1J (124)...or at least that was the plan last I read...

Any chance we'll hear about yesterday's fuel cell issues at the MMT today? Seems to be quite a lack of details right now and its driving me crazy. The implications of a failed/faulty cell for the mission isn't encouraging either.
Thank you Delta II & ICESat-2!
