Another question:  Why do the flight day execute packages available on the nasa web site often not have the MMT meeting notes that were on the link from the Flame Trench at Florida Today?  There is probably a valid reason but it makes it appear that they are witholding info.  Of course, they don't have to release everything (in my mind) but if things are readily available elsewhere, why hold them back in the official release?

Every Flight Day MMT presentation and about seven or eight more, since STS-115, have been placed into L2.

For the record, there's nothing in them that would stop PAO from releasing them. The contents are along the lines of what I wrote in my latest article: http://www.nasaspaceflight.com/content/?cid=5264 (bottom half) which includes quoting from the aforementioned Flight Day MMT presentation.

The SSRMS has now grappled (or is almost finishing doing so) the OBSS. Nice view with the South Pacific below:

Thanks to all for the replies.  For the record, Chris, you do a FANTASTIC job of taking tons of info and creating a summary that I have time to read.  Many, many thanks.  I was just curious why PAO sometimes omits MMT meeting summary notes.  Not a big deal.

Hmm, going off of no sound here...

But looks to me like they're fumbling around with some wires?

The SSRMS is over the OBSS to get hold of it. I know it won't be performed that way, but wouldn't it be a good idea to stow it on the newly installed -in STS-118- OBSS supports on the truss? Too complicated and time-consuming, maybe?
In a quick undock, you would lose the ability to do late inspection.

They're in that position now, with the SSRMS holding the boom.  If there's a quick undock now, I highly doubt one of the steps is to restow the OBSS.

Clay furiosly sucking a lollipop for concentration... and pointing at something with it for Tani ;)

And now the lollipop has taken revenge, starting spinning away from Clay, who was unable to catch it until it came to rest between two bags (sticky things, anyone?)

Tani now officially an Expedition 16 member, making Clay the return member of the STS-120 crew.

Between these two images, you can see the solar array has/is moving to keep in track with the sunlight.
