listening to the coverage makes me think sometimes the crews should have a degree in information technology all the troubleshooting they have to do with their lap tops

I've often thought, watching ISS coverage, that with all the fiddly PC repair work they end up doing (reboot this, reinstall that, replace an Ethernet cable there), that they could really use an onboard IT guy. I'll go :)

The clear ice we thought was ON the LH2 feedline really was just plastic, the troublesome ice was what looked like frost.

Condensation is not worrying.

If there's a media person at this briefing, ask him why he's not mentioned the big ass chunk of foam missing from the LO2 IFR!!

Oops, too late.  Very odd though.

Obviously a top secret US military nano-sat was deployed from that section of the ET, making it *appear* as though it is foam liberation.

You see, he simply can't talk about it.

Seriously though, you're not the only one who wants to know about it.

Could be nothing. Obviously didn't hit the orbiter (good)...but when we've got an engineer on L2 worried this could be a potential showstopper for 122, then I think it needs checking  :o

No word on the earlier FC2 chat? (I don't have access to NASA TV, unfortunately.) More importantly, has Houston come up with an answer to Clay's first joke?  ;)

Too bad they don't do the little end of the day video segment that the crew of STS-117 did.

Just a selfish wish... there's obviously no way they have the time.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the IFRs on ET-120 where redesigned as a test of the final redesign to come later next year and the IFRs to fly with STS-122 in December are the ones they've been flying with for a while now.
