But there doesn't seem to be much discussion about weather prohibitive of launch, at least through PAO. And the weather looks beautiful on NTV!

TrueBlueWitt - 23/10/2007 10:09 AMWill never happen of course.. but this would make too much sense.. Wouldn't this almost completely elminate ice concerns except possibly on very windy days?

Chris Bergin - 23/10/2007 3:41 PMGO FOR LAUNCH."Ice is not an issue for launch. Melting".
AstroRJY - 23/10/2007 10:45 AMI wish Curie would be more specific, like saying T-14 minutes 38 seconds, etc. instead of just T-14 minuts, he actually juxt said T-9 minutes and counting which doesn't make sense.
ChrisC - 23/10/2007 3:46 PMCNN is using the NSF ice image.
Chris Bergin - 23/10/2007 10:47 AMWell, it's a NASA TV image, so it's all cool Unless they've put our site's URL on it? (which would be a bonus).
ChrisC - 23/10/2007 10:50 AMThe image with the red oval was NASA's or NSF's? Either way, Miles said "courtesy of nasaspaceflight dot com".
