You're rinsing your toothbrush, and you realise that the spray pattern reminds you of the F9 stage 1 exhaust about a minute after launch.

When your next job interview is with a company called" ISS logistique" and you heard about it long ago, yet retained the name "ISS" thanks to the space station  8)

(and then again, the name "ISS logistique" smells either Cygnus or Dragon when you think about it.

And finally, they are subcontractors for the Armée de l'Air...

You dream (nightmare?) that NASA has assembled the Saturn V in the Saturn V Visitor's Center and is about to launch it on the SLS mobile launcher for a special mission.  You're racing to get to KSC to view the launch, but you get stuck in a huge traffic jam on I-95 in Georgia.  Over the car radio you hear "...coming out of the built-in hold..."   "...final guidance alignment..."   "   switching to internal power...".

When you see contrails from airlines in the sky and imagine when that will be landing burns from Earth to Earth BFRs.

... you see news stories mentioning NHL hockey player Alex Ovechkin and are repeatedly confused because you initially misread them as referring to Russian Cosmonaut Alexey Ovchinin who will be returning to the ISS in October as a crewmember of Expedition 57/58.

Every time you even hear the name Sarah Brightman, you just want to scream out loud, "What, are you insane? You could have gone to space!!!!"  >:(

Every time you even hear the name Sarah Brightman

Not sure if this counts, but: In spite of her winning her first Grammy in '86, performing at two Olympic games ceremonies and various other ceremonies, and having 180 gold/platinum records from many countries (at least so sayeth the Wikipedia), I only know her name from her abortive attempt to go into space.

Her name is not logical. She have been called Sarah Brightwoman. Same for me: never heard about her until she screwed her unique opportunity to visit the ISS. In fact most ISS space tourists were unknown to me before, well, they flew to ISS.
Dennis Tito ?
Mark Shuttleworth ? (was his trip worth a shuttle flight ?)
Guy Laliberté ? (whose name translate as Guy-the-freedom)
 Sarah Brightman ?
Charmes  Simonyi ?
Famous unknown, I told yah.

When you realize you're going to miss your annual lecture to the local high school on the space program-  :'(

-because your wife allowed you to commit to the week-long adult space camp.  ;)

Yes, that has really happened to me, going this Fall (for the 5th time)!

When you come home after work and found your wife (not a space buff like you) watch her favorite, cult movie, which completely fascinate her.
That movie ? Christopher Nolan Interstellar 8)

Incidentally, the movie was released in November 2014, seven months after the birth of our first kid. You guess, Cooper catchphrase has a special meaning for us.

Quote
"once you're a parent, you're the ghost of your children's future"

So from time to time, we watch Interstellar, I know a lot of quotes and punchlines from memory, plus it is quite fun to explain her the movie inner workings (wormholes, time travel, and why Ann Hathaway sucks, the references to 2001, Contact, Alien...)

We also enjoyed Inception, by the way. It completely blew our minds.

She also enjoy the Alien franchise, but I can't stomach all the horror and blood and guts in these movies.
