And if STS-120 happens to land on the first KSC opportunity on Wed. Nov. 7th, it will go right over the west Tennessee area...what a bonus...it will go right over my location.  Plasma trail would have been awesome to see.  I might hear a sonic boom...

Shame for me, that it is a day-time landing, but I wish the safest return for this fine crew.

Be safe.

Here's to getting on the ground safely in about 14 hours!

GO STS-120!  ( I'm hoping it'll be closer to 2:00 PM EDT, so I can at least run to class to watch it live ;) )

If they come in on the second attempt, I'll be jetting OUT of class (namely Architecture Studio ;) ) to see her overfly north Texas around 1:15 CST or so.

If we jet out of class here... we get in school suspension for skipping..   :o

But it looks/sounds like she'll be here on the first attempt.   :)

there are only so many shuttle missions left before they are in the history books. Its worth the risk of suspension imo... get out there and cheer them home.. make a memory. :)

Just wanted to say that this was one of the most exiciting and wonderful Shuttle missions in my history of having watched STS. Just a wonderful thing to behold.

Truth.  Very good words, Josh.  I thought the landing was a little hard, but hey.. I could be over critical.  :P

Anyways, great job all around, STS-120 crew.  (Good lord, I hope I don't get flamed for the landing comment..  :o ).  You truly showed what NASA is capable of.  Congratulations, once again.

This was probably the most fun mission that I have watched. Everything about it was textbook, with an awesome crew.

This was without a doubt the most exciting mission I've had the privilege of following. Everyone from the ground team to the flight crew did a tremendous job installing Node 2 and of course relocating P6 and repairing 4B. Also great landing by Pambo which made a great finale to this tremendous mission.

I don't think I've ever seen a crew that's been more close than this one either, at least based on what we got to see. To me it seemed they always kept joking and having fun even though they had some major challenges. I think Pam Melroy and Peggy Whitson really mangaged to get ther crews together and enjoy their work.

So to the entire NASA-team: Well done!
