I understand there was a problem with ground-support equipment this morning.  Did cryo tanking begin on time?

No. Weather held it up. In works now. Lots of leaks at the pad...but nothing serious from what the reports are claiming (S0007 shift status updates via L2). Might do an article.

T-19 hours and holding (for 4-hours)

Begin operations to load cryogenic reactants into Discovery's fuel cell storage tanks
 Demate orbiter mid-body umbilical unit
Resume orbiter and ground support equipment closeouts

(from NASA's STS-120 LAUNCH COUNTDOWN MILESTONES AND TIMES page)

Looking worse now...

Just some showers going through and maybe a few lightning strikes, nothing close to worrisome...

More importantly, it looks like one of the tankers (LH2, if I'm guessing correctly) is leaving the pad currently.

Tanker truck now leaving, so I guess PRSD load has finished 1 hour and 50 minutes behind schedule due to weather:

Wonder if the lighting is bright enough to see the water tank overflow when it happens before dawn.

T-11 hours and holding!

This hold is planned to last 13 hours and 13 minutes, with the count resuming at 7:13pm Eastern.

Planned tasks during this hold (as per NASA STS-120 Launch Countdown Milestones, not sure on whether they are still behind time):

Activate orbiter's inertial measurement units
Activate the orbiter's communications systems
Install film in numerous cameras on the launch pad (6:55 a.m.)
Flight crew equipment late stow (11:10 a.m.)
Move Rotating Service Structure to the park position (3 p.m.)
Perform ascent switch list
Fuel cell flow-through purge complete
