Did anyone happen to record the rollout today? These rollouts always seem to evade me and my attempts to record them.

It will probably appear on: http://www.space-multimedia.nl.eu.org/

Many items from NASA TV appear there within a day or so, sometimes sooner...

I hope this works (I have never posted a picture before_)

I just grabbed this off the KSC web cam's... Looks like the RSS is around the shuttle now - it appears on the Right side of this camera view. I did not notice any other views of it rotating.

I love the view from Camera 080..is it on the VAB or LCC?  They should use that during a live launch or replay, nice angle.

It's on top of the VAB and they do use it during live launch coverage.

The size of the sound suppression/water tower pipes compared to the tractor amused me :)

At the pad. And the canister is only a piece of Ground Support Equipment(GSE) used to transport shuttle payloads around KSC. It isn't used during flight. There's no equipment in the VAB to support payload bay door operations.

FT reports that the APU hotfire test has been reset for Saturday. Does the RSS have to be retracted for that?

Yeah, but not a biggy.

L2 this morning had "APU/WSB vent plugs were unable to be removed last night due to high winds. APU hotfire will be rescheduled...."

Any idea on how long the RSS will be retracted, allowing us to see the vehicle fully exposed? Hopefully they'll have the webcams trained on it. ;)
