The second option should say "NASA should had kept MTO's funding, and cut something else."

If Mars is so important to NASA's vision for space exploration, then no, funding should have been found.

It'll be back. One thing to remember, as with the likes of the X-33/VentureStar. We might scrap projects, but everything learned up to that point is there and classed as a WFR (workable future resource). I'll try and invite someone on here to speak further on MTO.

That's what I was assuming, too. It's just a shame things have to be pushed back indefinately. :(
