The launch vechile should be transported to XSLC already.

Indeed, the rocket has arrived at XSLC today! (It left the Beijing plant on March 29). Again, assuming that the launch flow follows the one put on the CZ-3 user manual, then the launch date would be around April 23 or so.

A local government news release on the dropping of rocket stages over Tiandeng county in Guangxi province indicates that the launch will occur on April 30 at 4:50 am local time (20:50 UTC on April 29).

According to CAST, the 2 S/C are stacked on top of each other under the CZ-3B fairing via an adaptor. So 3 objects plus the 3rd stage are to reach orbit.
The S/C use an improved DFH-3 platform and are capable of orbit change.
Nominal S/C orbit has been indicated as 21528km circular, inclined 55°.

Some pre-launch photos.

In case you can't made it out, the dual launch support structure forms part of the fairing outer surface, similar to the SPLEDA system used on the Ariane 4 (as opposed to the SYLDA on the A-4/5).

The two people being interviewed are Sun Jiadong (the chief designer of the Compass navigation system) and Jiang Jie (the current chief engineer of the Long March 3 series).

I'm not sure about the translation of 串联 (chuanlian) - possibly "serial" as opposed to "parallel" ?

I get   'shuanxing chuanlian wai zhicheng jiegou'  (SCWZJ) if you want to play that game (or if we are going to copy SPELDA, perhaps we should use French..)

The expected 4 objects (two Beidou, stage 3, adapter) are cataloged now.

On May 6, A and B were still in the transfer
orbit and no new elements for C and D are available since May 1. It's
possible that C and D were really the payloads and have been temporarily
lost after their move to the expected circular orbit.

Yup, chuanlian = connected in series (connected in parallel would be binglian 並联). That SCWZJ term literally means "dual satellite series connection outer support structure", so "DSSS" might be a good English translation.

AFAIU, CALT calls the SPELDA-like adaptor "dual satellite connecting external support structure" (双星串联外支撑结构) could be abbreviated as "DSCESS"
(source (http://www.beidou.gov.cn/2012/05/02/201205020f7a4dd3fee1476fa60072bb4557b999.html))

串联 (chuanlian) = in tandem configuration

According to a report published on Beidou website, after 3 orbit changes on May 5 and 6 MEO3 and MEO4 entered their preset orbits and are working nominally.

USSTRATCOM has now identified the 4 objects as:
  • 38250/2012-018A BEIDOU M3
  • 38251/2012-018B BEIDOU M4
    38252/2012-018C CZ-3B R/B (ie 3rd stage)
  • 38253/2012-018D CZ-3B DEB (ie adaptor)

The 3rd stage's radar cross section is said to be 3.415mē  much less than that of  the adaptor at 7.7509mē ; this is surprising when looking at the respective size of the 2 objects ???

This illustration uses the strange definition of "de-orbit" which leaves the satellite still in orbit.   "De-orbit" has always meant to bring out of orbit into the atmosphere, but this does not seem to apply to de-orbited GEO satellites.   Maybe I am too old-fashioned and pedantic.

As of September 19, 2012, the adaptor with a perigee of 222km has an RCS of 15.3mē while the 3rd stage with a perigee of 162km has an RCS of 24.4mē
