well they did that already....
STS122-S-002 (24 April 2007) --- These seven astronauts take a break from training to pose for the STS-122 crew portrait. From the left (front row) are astronauts Stephen N. Frick, commander; European Space Agency's (ESA) Leopold Eyharts; and Alan G. Poindexter, pilot. From the left (back row) are astronauts Leland D. Melvin, Rex J. Walheim, Stanley G. Love and European Space Agency's (ESA) Hans Schlegel, all mission specialists. Eyharts will join Expedition 16 in progress to serve as a flight engineer aboard the International Space Station. The crewmembers are attired in training versions of their shuttle launch and entry suits.

April! I wish NASA was more efficient. They've probably already taken the STS-123 crew photo and we won't see it till November! :o
-
Steady now. They can't take the STS-123 crew photo yet - they still haven't bumped Mike Foreman to a later flight ;-)

Sorry, couldn't resist. Does anyone know yet why Foreman lost his original spot on STS-120?
-
I think it was because they decided to do an ISS crew rotation so Tani had to replace someone (in this case Foreman).
-
I'm excited about this flight. It's the first one where someone that I actually know in RL is going up. Leland's dogs, Jake and Scout, are good buddies of my dog.

ONE QUICK NOTE, I THINK THIS IS THE FIRST ALL-MALE CREW I'VE SEEN IN A LITTLE WHILE.
