hi all ,
Does anyone know if NASA produces a post mission cheklist of items which went AWOL during EVAs etc.
Good example is
http://mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/satcom_transits/station_worm.wmv ( Claimed by some jokers to be similar to Story Musgrave's alien "worm" )
Its a small strap or tether about a metre long floating between the station and Atlantis during the fly - around.
This item must have a kit ID listed somewhere ??????

There is no "checklist" But there is list of missing things after each shuttle mission. The problem is reconciling the list since things can be left on the station. There is also a missing items list for the station

Thanks Jim , thought there might be , ...but do you know if the lists for each mission are in the public domain ?
I know there's possibly litigation issue here , should anything left out there be proved to be responsible for taking out someone elses satellite , but I would like to tie this object down.
Looks very much like one of the small tether/straps used to attach the various tools to the suit during EVA.
