Anyone heard of SpaceX’s Bandwagon-1 mission? Fleet Space plans to launch Centauri-6 satellite on it in April 2024. From the attached Fleet Space filing of a presentation to the FCC.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA, Dec. 5, 2023– Capella Space Corp., an American space tech pioneer with data and satellite solutions for government and commercial use, and a leader in the Earth observation industry, today announced that two Acadia satellites, Acadia-4 and Acadia-5, will launch with SpaceX in 2024.

The Acadia-4 satellite will be launched to a 45-degree mid-inclination orbit (MIO) during SpaceX’s Bandwagon-1 mission no earlier than April 2024, while the Acadia-5 satellite will be launched no earlier than June 2024 to a 97-degree sun-synchronous orbit (SSO) during SpaceX’s Transporter-11 mission via Exolaunch, who will provide mission management and integration services for this mission.

The first satellites are now scheduled to be launched on Bandwagon-1 instead of Transporter-10. The next pair on Transporter-11. Tomorrow.io is telling the FCC Bandwagon-1 is targeting April 1st.

Orbit Profile: Acadia 4 will deploy from the launch vehicle into a near-circular inclined
orbit at an altitude between 590 km and 590 km, at an inclination between 43 and 45
degrees. It will maintain an altitude between 610 and 550 km using a Hall Effect propulsion
system for a maximum of 3 years of operational mission.

2. Spacecraft Description
Physical Description of the Spacecraft: The Acadia 4 satellite has a nominal launch mass
between 160 kg and 180 kg. Two 1.25 m2 deployable solar arrays, a 10 m2 deployable antenna
and a 3m long boom deploy from the principal bus structure.

I've seen a couple stories saying TSAT-1A is a radar satellite, which looks to me like one site got very confused and then other sites started copying it.  As far as I can tell it's optical.

Hawkeye 360 has a countdown time on their page.  (Of course it's likely to change in the next month, but at least it's a starting point).  Currently showing April 3 at 1:24PM local if I did the math right (which isn't a given today.)

Also, does the Project 425 satellite place restrictions on which pad (KSC vs CCSFS) can or cannot be used (because it's a ROK military satellite)?

(I know that foreign military satellites have often been launched from Florida and Vandenberg.)

Falcon 9 first stages are now apparently cleared for use up to twenty times for non-crewed launches, although that number is apparently more restricted for Cargo Dragon or Cygnus than these other payloads.

1064.6 and 1065.6 are the Falcon Heavy side boosters for Europa Clipper.  1072.1 and 1086.1 are assigned as the Falcon Heavy side boosters for GOES-U.

1073.14 and 1076.13 may undergo modifications to become Falcon Heavy side boosters for a future launch, but both are currently available for "single-stick" launches.

Available first stages, with UTC date of most recent recovery:
1069.14  Feb 25  Starlink 6-47
1083.2    Mar 4    (Save for a crewed or ISS cargo mission?  Or a Galileo pair?)

I don't see where Sidus ever filed with the FCC to change the orbits from SSO, their license hasn't been granted, and they've only filed experimental permits for the first sat.

My guess is that the changes to the hazard period do not reflect a change to the launch time, but rather reduce the amount of time between the start of the hazard period and the launch time.

In image 1/2 you can barely make out the bright light of the plume, we could easily see it and the reentry burn even though it barely came out in my phone pics.

If you look close in 4 you can see four of the Ghost Squadron's L-39s taxiing out for a practice just after launch, along with the Falcon's contrail just to the left of the center person's hat.

A “dancing satellite”, part of a future constellation offering high performance and short revisit

The first Synthetic Aperture Radar satellite of Korea 425 Project constellation was successfully launched aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral, Florida, on the evening of 7th, April 2024.

Thales Alenia Space's contribution to this program, developed in cooperation with Korean Aerospace Industries (KAI) and Hanwha Systems Corporation (HSC), for the Korean Agency for Defence and Development (ADD) as the prime developer, goes beyond the engineering support provided during the critical phases of the End-to-End System and Satellite System projects.

Our contribution extends to the supply of our high-performance Synthetic Aperture RADAR (SAR) that utilizes an innovative antenna consisting of a Large deployable reflector with 24 deployable petals and an active phased array feed array in dual polarization. Another significant part of our contribution is the acquisition, storage, and data retransmission system on the ground. The high agility of the “dancing satellite” is guarantee by the innovative avionics and Control Momentum Gyroscope, also provided by Thales Alenia Space. These advanced technologies enable high-performance observation and surveillance capabilities, critical to the success of the program.

Thales Alenia Space’s involvement in the 425 Project strengthens its fruitful collaboration with South Korea for space programs, including the KOMPSAT-5 observation project, the Koreasat family of telecommunication satellites, GEO-KOMPSAT-2, and KASS satellite navigation system, that was certified by national authorities and entered operational service recently.

Built in India, the First Sub-meter Resolution Optical Satellite Reaches Orbit

New York, NY, USA and Mumbai, India, April 8, 2024 – Tata Advanced Systems Limited (“TASL”), India’s leading private sector player for aerospace and defense solutions, and Satellogic Inc. (NASDAQ: SATL) (“Satellogic”), a leader in sub-meter resolution Earth Observation (“EO”) data collection, today announced the successful deployment into space of TASL’s TSAT-1A satellite aboard the Bandwagon-1 mission, which SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket launched from Launch Complex 39A at Kennedy Space Center, Florida, USA, at 23:16 UTC on April 7, 2024.

TSAT-1A has been assembled in TASL’s Assembly, Integration and Testing (“AIT”) plant at its Vemagal facility in Karnataka. This achievement follows the collaboration signed between TASL and Satellogic in November 2023, leveraging Satellogic’s expertise to develop and integrate an advanced EO satellite in India and TASL’s capability to undertake complex system integration.

Sukaran Singh, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, TASL, said, “This milestone shows  TASL’s commitment to the space sector. This is a first step. Our partnership with Satellogic has enabled us to deliver an assembled and tested in India, best-in-class, fully integrated sub-meter optical satellite which was launched aboard SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket for the Bandwagon-1 mission. We are grateful for the support we have received from various Indian Government authorities for required permissions.”

TSAT-1A will deliver high-resolution optical satellite images with increased collection capacity, dynamic range, and low-latency delivery through its multispectral and hyperspectral capabilities.
