Spaceflightfans.cn is giving 16:17UTC on April 2 as the launch time/date.
-
This would correspond to a LTDN = 23:20 or so. Kind of strange.
-
That launch time lines up with the orbit of Yaogan-33 launched in December 2020.

Well, I don't believe that the March 30 Jiuquan bird may be the same as the April 2 Taiyuan one. I think we should expect two launches.

It seems that the Chinese sources are starting to back off from the GF-12-02 theory for the March 30 one due to only one NOTAM zone and Yuan Wang 6's latest movements, some say it might be CZ-2D instead (and if so we don't know what could be on board).
-
Indeed the NOTAMed area is closer to what it was for several CZ-2D launches (ie Nov 20, 2011; April 26, 2013 or Dec 3, 2017)
-
Interestingly Chinese forums that I track seems to swung back towards the GF-12-02/CZ-4C theory based on Yuan Wang 6 tracking ship circling the downrange area in the Indian Ocean again, which is not necessary for CZ-2D launches.
I guess we won't know until after it launches...

JIUQUAN, March 31 (Xinhua) -- China sent a new Earth observation satellite into space from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China at 6:45 a.m. Wednesday (Beijing Time).
The satellite, Gaofen-12 02, was launched aboard a Long March-4C rocket and entered its planned orbit successfully.
The satellite will be used in land surveys, urban planning, road network design and crop yield estimation, as well as disaster relief.
It was the 364th flight mission of the Long March carrier rocket series

I thought JSLC was in Inner Mongolia, 50 km North of Gansu province ???

Due to historical reasons there is lack of clarity. At the beginning the JSLC belongs to the Gansu province. But since about the 70's due to administrative changes JSLC area went to Inner Mongolia. But even now the JSLC post office is using the designation No.27 post office of Lanzhou (the capital of Gansu province).

Patch and Launch!
The map within the patch shows the North Atlantic area. A little strange for a Chinese launch but maybe a indication of the primary target of the mission.
-
The satellite has been catalogued in a 600km SSO with 05:00am LTDN. That's two hours earlier than the original Gaofen 12, which is strange.

not if you have multiple planes targeted to view generally the same location as the earth rotates and the next satellite picks up the area. they can fill the planes later.
-
That was a lot of debris coming off that launch.

That's quite normal. Its insulation coming off the fairing.
