Title: Adding 3D detail to paper model
Post by: OV135 on 06/08/2018 01:16 AM
Guys, I'm doing some modifying of the Edu-craft 1/72 paper kit. The issue I'm stuck on is how to add grating to each level of the FSS levels, catwalks, etc and not sacrifice the kit parts. I've seen paper models done so well they look like plastic model kits with brass etched additions, but it's all paper. I'm trying to do that on my model.

I started assembly of the Rotating Service Structure main body yesterday. Adding detail to the paper model to give it a more 3D look using references. This model will be a hybrid of the original paper kit with paper and styrene additions to give it a real look.
