Does anyone know--Is there anywhere on the internet that the public can view a document of every single step in the countdown, beginning the second the countdown begins at T-43 hours, far more detailed than the countdown miletstones we see on the common space information sites. It would be fun to follow along with every single little step tomorrow morning, even from way up here in Canada!!
:) Go Atlantis!!

You can find it here from t-6hrs.:

L2 Plug... Much more detailed countdown information is available on L2!

And more for STS-115, about 400mbs of internal documents and presentations :) I'm currently installing the truss into the ISS from the comfort of my home :) Oops, I dropped it :o ;)

triddirt, there are some people that can't get L2, so this forum is still the best place to get spaceflight info.

Paul - what he is indicating, is that if you want detailed info get L2. If you are happy with the generic info linked above, then that will do. Nobody is saying this is a bad forum.

What in Orbiter? The Current STS-115 pack has an BETA SSMS that cant grapple the Truss yet. So you can only move it around with the shuttle arm. :(

I think the above means this is still the best place, even without L2. Those on L2, like I am, know that if they wish to take it further and see what Wayne Hale is seeing, then that's another step up, as L2 is an amazing never-seen-before-anywhere section.

If you look at one of the docs on L2, I am sure you will find the procedure to handle dropping said truss.... oh.. dont forget the appendix to be filled out and submitted in triplicate ;)

delta manager is right about my comment on L2. this forum is the best free place to get information about spaceflight. i can't go on L2 due to not been able to work because of ill health. so funds are a bit tight at the moment.

Appreciate the comments. Check your PM's Paul.
We're VERY proud of L2, I had no idea that section would be able to gain the information we are when I set it up. However, importantly, it's not the detriment of the open sections of the site either.

We'll stick with Launch and Preps thread until RSS rollback - which we'll go into a Live Update launch event.

Agreed, this is THE BEST free forum to find out about and discuss everything spaceflight. Hopefully my financial situation will change here soon and L2 will become possible for me. Not that it is outrageous, it's very fair considering it's used to support this site but when my wife saw my recent $20 annual Google Earth Plus purchase she hit the roof and gave me the old groceries and kids clothes talk. That kind of rules out the L2 upgrade for a while.

Tell her it is part of the kids education :) They could learn so much from L2 that just cant be found in text books
