Let's hope they do fill the OPFs...but here's something of an update:

Nice , thanks  :)

Could the laid off shuttle personnel be able to be hired to work on Dream Chaser.

For Dream Chaser , Am I reading this right that they can remove unwanted items from one of the OPF's for that customer?

Would they be planning on having public tours of the commercially used OPF's? If so that could be a problem if one of them is used by the X-37B.

AFAIK SNC have said as much. Primarily for the TPS. Weather they will (or have *already* done so) is a different matter.

It's been a while. I'm wondering how many are left that have not found new work.

Anyone know how the Air Force X-37B folks feel about doing this?

Depends on flight rate.  There are no more manifested currently.

I assume that means that someone has ordered additional X-37 flights. I assume one will always be located in the OPF, since they haven't found the need to fly multiple at one time, yet.

Great news. That leaves OPF-2 for Dreamchaser if they go that route...
