Title: Looking for CAD models of: Atlas V 552 Centaur, Delta IV Upper Stage
Post by: whitestar11 on 08/17/2011 11:11 pm
Hello,

We recently got a 3D rapid prototyper at my school and I'm looking for some files of upper stages to print. My area of research relates to upper stages and it would be great to have a couple scale models of the Atlas V 552 Centaur and Delta IV upper stage.

If anyone out there has some files they would be willing to share, that would be great. I just don't have the time to do it myself, and I can't really justify taking that kind of detour from my work.

Ideally, it would be something I can open in Autodesk Inventor 2012 so I can slightly modify one thing (which is where my research is focused), and convert to the file format required by our rapid prototyper.

I've looked around online for free models but I can't find any. NASA has a bunch of free ones, but none of them deal with the Atlas or Delta rockets

Oh and if there's anything out there on the Falcon 9, that would be great too.

Thank you.

I have made models of Rockets with Cad before without any problems, just make it yourself.
