Title: Executive Package Humor Contest - Presentation
Post by: Chris Bergin on 07/21/2011 02:26 am
On what is going to be a very emotional day, I've been kindly sent this PDF of the above title.

You all know what the executive packages are if you've followed any of our FD coverage over the years, and while some of this will be over the heads of those who aren't MOD, most will get a laugh out of a lot of these cartoons etc ;D

Here's what the Crew is thinking during PAO Events:

Q.  What on Earth can the spacewalks be compared with?
Like fixing your roof at night while wearing diapers, ski-clothes, and scuba gear over your pajamas.

Bwahahahahahahaha!!!

The rest of those are great too.

I get some of them . . of the ones I don't get, I'm most interested in the last page. Can anyone explain it?

Thanks for posting this, Chris.

Ha, yeah! That was a recent one, when that strange fella predicted the end of the world.

The joke is he's got back in the FCR and seen all the controllers are missing. He thinks its the Rapture! But he's told it's ZOE (where the controllers sometimes all go for a break as there's no comms) :D

Execute Package humor was always fun... and during handovers, one of the first things I looked for.   :)

I worked the flight where the "Chuck Shaw Dictionary" was originated...  it was just as funny then.  ;)

That was absolutely incredible.  THANK YOU!

I'll even excuse the use of Comic Sans (shudder) on page 11 (aka 9).

I know a relative of Chris Cassidy, so I'll be sure to pass that part on.

Probaby off-topic here, but I remember a story from the late 1980s that the Space Station Freedom was shrinking so much that there would only be enough room for the name "Fred" to be painted on the side .......

From an old NASA Systems Engineering Study, seems they had trouble coming up with a snappy acronym...
