I would like to know more about the evacuation last month. Aside from news articles and the only official NASA briefing on it I could find (http://www.nasa.gov/directorates/somd/reports/iss_reports/2011/06282011.html), is there any additional information about the whole event? What procedures were carried out before the crew sealed off the Soyuz hatches. By procedures I mean things such a powering down any ISS systems and donning re-entry suits. The NASA link says the USOS hatches were closed and only says that the "necessary reconfiguration procedures (USOS hatches closed, etc.)" were executed. What exactly are these procedures?
I am also very interested in hearing the communication that occurred between mission control and the crews.

BAsically the USOS hatches are closed at each module. It may not help if the USOS is hit but it can't hurt and doesn't take too much time. This is just a standard hatch closure procedure. The intermodule ventilation was also shut off (too isolate the modules in case of rupture). RS hatches are not closed due to the significant crew time and impact to operations for what they consider a low likelihood event. The crews removed the docking clamps, get in the SOyuz and close (but not latch) the hatch. Only the SOyuz radio is acativated. This is done via special procedure for this event and occurs minutes before the conjunction.
