The various case segments have also been used on 12 ground tests in the form of 4 Flight Support Motors (FSM-10, -13 [2 case sections], -14, and -15 [2 case sections]), one Flight Verification Motor (FVM-1 [2 case sections]), Qualification Motor-1, and 6 Test Evaluation Motors (TEM-2, -4, -8, -9, -11, -12).

Just out of curiosity. do you have the expanded data for this? By that I mean, for each specific piece of the curent set, what flights (and tests) and what positions was it used in.

It's nice to see that there are parts from STS-1 in use on STS-135. There at the start, still there at the end, they've come full circle.

This and others like it are a great source of information. Does anybody know if similar information is available for every flight going back to the begining of the program?
I have information like this for most flights leading up to STS-51L and six flights in the early post 51L period (all originally sourced from ATK). That's all I've seen before they started appearing on this an similar sites (STS-122 onward).

Reach for the stars?
I hope the next US manned space craft is capable of reaching for more than LEO. On a booster that does not use solids no less.
I lift my glass for a farewell toast to the Shuttle but gladly accept her none-to-soon retirement.
Does anyone have previous flight history on the last three SSMEs to go into orbit?

Here you go, for flights up to STS-133.
STS-134/Endeavour used SSMEs 2059/2061/2057 and STS-135/Atlantis used SSMEs 2047/2060/2045.

Even more impressive is the SSME reusability chart. Rocket engines that fly to space, get thoroughly inspected on the ground after each flight, and then refurbish to fly again -- one engine flew 19 times!

If you look carefully you will see that engine 2012 actually flew 22 times before retirement. One sequence of 10 flights with powerhead 2014 and the second sequence of 12 with powerhead 2025 :)

STS-3? I thought the flightset of SRBs were lost during that mission due to a pyro failure and no chute deployment?
